Colosseum, Palatine Hill & Roman Forum Guided Tour

Especially the time they took to give the tour and give us time to explain while they let us take pictures. I had never been on a tour with a headphone amplifier before, very good for this.

We had an amazing Colesseum tour with guide Gina. She was the best, most knowledgeable, tour guide we've ever had. So animated, cheerfully describing all points of interest and historic facts as we moved through the area. Extremely well organized and placed all of us in perfect locations out of traffic way. She made sure we moved along as a tight group with an infectious smile. Her humour about historic facts and scenarios was fantastic and kept things light and informative yet so entertaining! Our guide was excellent and he went the extra mile by escorting us into the Basilica after the tour ended as well. Unfortunately, it felt very rushed through the Vatican museum exhibits with no time to see the Egyptian exhibits at all, which was a huge disappointment.

The tour was great, because of two things: of course Colosseum, Foro Romana and Palantine Hill are very historycal interesting places. Secondly, our guide Ilaria Croce did her thing in the most entertaining way, we weren't bored a second during the 3 hour tour. Thanks, Ilaria!

The tour guided by Laura was incredible, she knows the history very well and the way she told it was phenomenal. The only bad thing was that when we arrived at the Colosseum the battery of the audio device ran out and although I told her and she said she would change it soon, she did not change it and I did not hear anything of what she was telling inside the Colosseum. Watch out for that please staff

Sylvia was a wonderful tour guide. We spent three marvelous hours wandering through the collosseum and Roman forum. I would highly recommend it. I would also recommend doing the earliest tour you can to avoid the heat of the day. Bring sunscreen and a hat.

Benjamin our guide was very nice and funny the way he told us the stories. Also Benjamin was very open to listen and answer all kinds of questions. The guided tour with Benjamin was excellent!

Fast entrance, very good and kind guidance, small group. Just the check-in was a little bit too long to get the tickets at the place by the colloseum. But all in all 5 stars

The guided tour was incredible and I highly recommend it. The guide, Manoel, was the best part, extremely friendly, knowledgeable and caring towards the whole group. My only criticism of the company is that it wasn't clear to me that the entrance ticket to the Colosseum was already included and I ended up queuing and spending money on the ticket unnecessarily. This should have been clearer in the description. Anyway, I got in touch with customer service and was promptly answered and my query resolved. However, the service was in English. So that's that. But apart from that, everything was perfect! Rome is a fascinating city and I will always remember this unique moment.

Did a guided tour of Vatican City so doing a guided tour of the Colosseum was a must! Our tour guide was amazing, she even gave us a map with recommendations for the evening. Would 100% recommend.

The communication and customer service prior to commencing our tour was clear and very helpful! Headphones to hear our guide were great. The tour was interesting. The long lines to still get into the Colosseum were disappointing. I wouldn't describe it as "skip the line tour". More time in the Colosseum would have been appreciated - plus seeing more of it. Our guide was very good.

I just wanted to say I had a great experience for all of my tours with Headout, from the Eiffel Tower to Academia Galleria in Firenze to Vatican and Colosseum tours in Rome. All of their tour guides were knowledgeable and also knows how to handle big crowds. Big shoutouts to Elena in the Vatican, Fabrizio in the Colosseum, they were amazing tour guides.

Overall the experience was great! Our guide was very knowledgable and provided us with some great history about the monuments that were included in the tour which painted a great picture of what Rome was like back then. The meeting point was also very easy to find and the check in process was seamless. However one thing of note is that you do not get to explore all of the roman forum or the palantine so if you are interested in taking the time to look through all of it at your own pace I would recomend going on your own.
