Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel Guided Tour

The Vatican really is one of Rome's must-sees. Special mention to our guide Vincent, an art lover who passed on his interest with passion, respect and humor. Many thanks again.

It was such an interesting visit that it became even more so with an excellent guide in the person of Vincent, who was highly competent and pleasant despite the crowds of visitors. His wit and humor were with us every step of the way. A real pleasure! My 10-year-old daughter loved it, and appreciated, as I did, our guide's approach to the sometimes inelegant security imperatives... but understandable in view of this wonderful treasure to be preserved. I'd be happy to do other tours with this fascinating and passionate guide! Grazie mille

Our guide was very interesting and knowledgeable. Felt we stood around a lot - particularly in the sun in the Vatican garden. Very hot! But information shared was good. Extremely busy which was disappointing but can't be helped I expect.

we were at the meeting point 1/2 hour ahead as indicated. The group started to move 1 hour later, then walked another 20 minutes and stood in line before entering. The Vatican is very crowded - the earlier the entrance the better to avoid crowds. It was difficult to see most galleries and the guide was moving the group constantly. The Sistine Chapel was slightly better - only because all the art was above our heads and the crowds. The guide gave a good overview of the Chapel art in the courtyard with the posted pictures.

I loved it. It met all my expectations. The guide didactically explained aspects of art and history. Furthermore, she was careful and very friendly.

Very good guide in French! Gave us the benefit of the "coupe file" for the visit to the cathedral. Too bad there's no religious music in the Sistine Chapel. Map corridor too fast

Our tour guide was very friendly and helpfully. We did find it difficult to locate the group. No sign or no uniform to identify the staff.

Hello, there was a time of about 35 minutes waiting for people who wanted to go to the bathroom before the tour (inside the enclosure) so everything was very rushed, inside the chapel we felt like sheep, fast, fast, do not stay!!!, you could not appreciate much, of course the biggest compliment is not the guide but the employees of the chapel. But in spite of everything I liked it very much, I was very impressed with all the wonders we saw.

Our tour guide, Julia, was funny and engaging! The tour was comprehensive and definitely helped us navigate the museums as they were very crowded and otherwise would have been confusing to get around. The tour also ended right in front of St. Peter's Basilica, so we were able to head directly inside afterwards without having to wait in the long queue. Would absolutely recommend!

Very knowledgeable guide...it was a pleasant two hours passed in a flash!!! Too many, too many people, though, and the Sistine Chapel looked like a bar, despite the request for silence!

The visit was a bit chaotic, it took us a long time to get in (45 minutes from the meeting point to the access to the Vatican Museums) and the guide was very fast during the visit. We had another guided tour with Headout which we loved, and this one was more disappointing.

The Vatican experience was great. However, I would really encourage you to add more detailed information about the meeting point and to tell people to leave a lot of time to find it. We were unaware that there was such a vast area to navigate to find the meeting area and we only just managed to find it in time.

The guide was super nice, knew the important things and helped us as much as she could in all the problems we had. She made a visit that could have been heavy, something incredible! What we didn't like is that other visitors from the Philippines were very nasty with their comments to the guide. However, our guide didn't let anything get to her and continued to do an excellent job! ❤️❤️

As is the case with all these famous places, the Vatican museum was very crowded! It was a very interesting tour-round but not enough time to savour more. And obviously the Sistene Chapel is the highlight. A good tour guide but it felt rushed, but I get that. There are a lot of people that want to see it!

Impresionante! Imprescindible!! Hicimos el tour con guía de habla española. IVAN. MUy profesional. Nos hizo un tour muy divertido sin dejar nada en el tintero! No tuvimos que esperar colas! Si volviésemos atrás, volveríamos a elegir a IVÁN y repetiríamos el día tal cual! Muchas gracias a Iván por enseñarnos un pedacito de Roma y transmitirnos el amor por la misma!

Both tours were great. I highly recommend this pack to anyone who wants to explore Rome in an in-depth and entertaining way.
