Topkapi Palace Museum & Harem Skip-the-Line Tickets with Audio Guide

Nice and comfortable guide Very well explained each and everything Would be great if guide accompany in the harem section also. But explained well about the harem section as a whole

The entrance was fine, but the explanations were very quick, and we were taken directly to the entrance of the Harem, with no time to see the 1st courtyard. :(

The tour was well organized and the meeting point was easy to find. We were told interesting facts, questions were answered, we were given information and then had time to walk around on our own.

Good guide: interesting content in neat English. Although we booked and paid in advance to visit the harem, we still had to buy a 500 lira ticket. The service provider's promise to assist us by phone remained dead letter. A great pity.

The entrance was made easy with the fast track guide. The harem was so beautiful and interesting. The information boards are very helpful. We were impressed with how well the whole complex was looked after.

The building is beautiful, you appreciate everything, however I want to thank headout for the helpfulness shown to us, we were in danger of losing the reservation as well as by regulation and instead in front of our difficulty they helped us and a thank you to our guide, I highly recommend headout. Skipping the line was definitely worth while. Guide told us enough to guide ourselves successfully round once he'd taken us through all the gates. I prefer then to go at own pace so would not have wanted a guide once within the palace. Go as early as you can. Crowds lining up for different rooms later on.

The guided tour was an excellent choice. We've learned about the history of the Palace and some incredible details. It was easy to find the meeting point and the guide was nice.

After more than an hour we were still in the main entrance/garden area, hearing nothing special. He made several (at least three) identifications of those present. Some of the audio guides didn't work, and another person tested some of the audio guides. Everyone was staring at each other because of the delay and, above all, with terrible English (many people like me chose to turn off the audio) without any English pronunciation or intonation, in other words in the same Turkish tone, in my case when the guide saw my disappointed expression, I even replied: I don't know if you're speaking in English or Turkish, which in this case I don't!?

The palace entry process went relatively smoothly but was a little slow just because of the number of people in our group. Once inside the palace grounds we started with the Harem because that also has an entry requirement. The entry process there was also quite easy. The palace grounds and buildings are huge, you could easily spend a day exploring them. If I went again I would want to think about where I should start and not necessarily be required to start with the Harem. Otherwise my family and I live bed the palace and the grounds.

Topkapi Palace was aazing and well worth visiting but the guide didn't explain anything, and we did not get audio guide at te start of the tour

The experience was well organised and the guide was good. The only issue was the group size. For the proce paid I would have expected a smaller group. Your competitors (GetYourGuide and Viator) do this and it works much better.

Even though we missed our scheduled time, they accommodated us in the next group. They calmed us down and reassured us that we didn't lose our $$. I'd highly recommend it. Just be aware that the meeting time is on the dot. It's a bit laid back country and if anything it's a necessity when we're traveling to take it easy.

Our guide Mehmet did the 50 minute orientation very well. Then we saw the exhibits on our own, which took me two hours, including the unmissable harem. Make sure you tell Mehmet at the headset testing at the start if your headset might not be working. I even saw a gardener with a weapon on his shoulder, just before I went to the weapons section which had similar weapons.

Visited Topkapi palace. Great guide (thank you Mehmet), good price, easy booking, access to all areas with our ticket Earpieces were a bit loud, even on lowest volume (had to use them because we were a group larger than 8)

It was very good arranged with the guide explaining everything. The most impressive was the part where belongings of the Prophet(saw), other Prophets and of the related famili members, sahaba's were.

The place is beautiful, full of history and worth a visit. I think we would have had a more rewarding visit on our own.

The harem in particular is spectacular. The skip the line allowed me to avoid the ticket queue, even though it wasn't too long at the time. The guide helped us enter, gave a brief orientation and took us to the harem entry.

Didn't have to wait in any line! Liked that we got an intro to the palace but then could wander through at our own pace. Definitely worth it.

Impressive palace, very interesting everything. Especially the treasure. If you do it with audio guide do not forget to scan the QR before entering because there is no more inside (after the first entrance). You need more than 3 hours to see it.
