Vaporetto ACTV Water Bus & Mainland Bus Pass: 1 to 7 Days

I loved having all access to buses and vaporettos during my 72 hours in Venice. I stayed in Alberoni and had no trouble getting in and out of the city whenever I wanted to go. With a simple tap on the machine I went everywhere.

The punctuality of the means of transportation...I highly recommend even if you can't always find a seat in the vaporettos.

Friendly, efficient team who helped with boating and disembarking. Vaporetto always a pleasure to be on the canal and in the lagoon.

A good network of lines; all the important places in Venice are easy to reach without long waiting times. The trips on the open front or rear decks are particularly attractive! The boat crews were always friendly and helpful, and the boats were relatively punctual due to their speed. The vaporettos are a highlight for visitors to Venice!!!?

Basically very good transport connections, only a page with an overall description would be nice: what does A B C etc. mean or if the line is clear, for which direction right or left into the stop? More warnings about thieves, e.g. announcements! More video surveillance! More carabinieri! First robbery after just 10 minutes at Piazzale Roma when redeeming the 7-day ticket!

The fact that you can use the ferries in a variety of ways, everything worked well organizationally and the ferries were always on time. The only thing that was complicated was the activation or scanning at the service point, as you still had to queue and it was a bit unclear whether you could activate at the counter or at a machine

Venice is an enchanting city, one of the most beautiful in the world, where in just a few kilometers coming out of any alley you can encounter a wonder, be it a church, a canal or one of the more than 400 bridges.

Vaporetti are the ideal means of transportation in Venice. Everything worked out wonderfully. Only the Murano, Burano etc. line. It's terribly crowded and the vaporetto had to leave people standing again and again. Then you have to wait a very long time.

Easy, soon as you get the coach to Treviso, there's ticket machine, then get the bus or coach wherever. Use the ticket have to tap the card on the machine.

Waterbuses were on time and easy to use. The maps were easy to read and understand and the staff were happy to help out. A few buses did need a service though as they were run down

We arrived tired in Venice in the evening and had our vaporetto ticket 5 minutes later without being digital natives ;-)

Vaporetto tickets easy to purchase and convert to paper tickets. And I was pleased with the 10% discount for returning customers.

We took a 3-day pass, and it was indispensable for all our travels during our stay, from our accommodation to the Lido, during the day to change parts of Venice quickly, for the pleasure of sailing on the Grand Canal or to go to other islands.

the handling to get the vaporetto ticket was very easy , the trips very safe and the staff attentive and helpful in every way

Great for getting around easily, but on some lines, the number of people should be limited. The vaporetto is so crowded it's dangerous.

There was a station where it was clearly written that the is a Seabus that goes on A4 and A5 route. After waiting for 30 minutes we asked the stuff member where the boat was....In reply he screamed at us and said it was closed and that we should have read the billboard. However the billboard actually did NOT SAY ANYTHING about the route A4 not stopping at this station. Overall for the amount of tourists the number of boats is VERY low. there should be at least TWICE more boats.

Enjoyed visiting the islands but found the public ticket machines where I needed to print my ticket on line very hard to use due the heavy rain hitting g the screen. I had to ask an attendant at the nearby ticket office for something to wipe the screen in order to get it to work. When you are holding an Umbrella in one hand as well as scanning your phone and the rain is hitting the screen suspending the system it was very frustrating. I eventually got it to work to get my ticket but not a great start. I'd suggest some kind of cover be erected as this must be a common problem for users in the winter.

Booked tickets excellent, impressive sights with direct access, hardly any waiting times. Good preparation saves vacation stress!

Wir konnten sehr flexibel , bequem und variantenreich, immer das Ticket in der Tasche, unterwegs sein. Da wir zu dem traditionellen, sportlichen Ereignis „Vogalonga" in Venedig waren, ist dieses 7-Tage-Ticket für uns die beste Möglichkeit gewesen, spontan sein zu können.
