Fine, guide with yellow jacket to get ticket easy to be found. Only Italian signing outside. Guard outside was being very rude to Japanese visitors who came late for slot. Must be difficult to read and find for them. Dome great.Colleen

It was great but hard to know what was going on about tickets. You should explain person meeting us will have them a lot of people booked so many and ran about hour behind
Pick up your ticket from your local assistant at the meeting point and enjoy reserved entry into Brunelleschi's Dome. Upon entering, climb up 463 steps to get to the top. Remember, the way is narrow and there is no elevator, so this tour is not recommended for those with heart problems, vertigo, or claustrophobia. Once you reach up, admire the egg-shaped architecture of the dome, once the largest such structure in the world.
As for the Dome's interiors, you'll get the chance to see lovely frescoes and stained-glass windows. See also Zuccari and Giorgio Vasari's frescoes of the Last Judgement and take in the beautiful 360-degree view over Florence and its surroundings from the summit.
