Your Experience
Come closer to nature at Adelaide Zoo, where wildlife like capybaras, tapirs, macaws, pandas, giraffes, Komodo dragons, and Tasmanian devils live. The 8-hectare zoo represents Southern Australia's social history and heritage since it started in 1883. You can learn about animal behavior from free keeper talks. You can also opt for a guided tour between 10am and 3pm, starting at the Tour Meeting Point next to the main entrance. The volunteer guides take you through a personalized journey to help you visit your favorite species or discover new ones. If you want to get even closer to the species, opt for the different Animal Encounters at the zoo, not included in your ticket.
