I never imagined that the Alhambra could be so impressive. From the geometric designs to the attention to detail to the craftsmanship to the engineering, I was amazed the entire time I was there.Pau

The place is amazing, the views are breathtaking and the architecture is interesting and amazing, taking you back in time. I absolutely recommend the experience, but be prepared, because the place is huge and you need hours to explore it all.☺️Cornelia

We couldn't get tickets with a tour to the Alhambra on our brief holiday in the area, since we had left it too late to book. But then we found the Granada card and booked a seperate tour without a ticket, and it turned out to be the best thing ever. We had total freedom to arrive and enter the Alhambra, we used public transport, which was very easy, and the additional access to the different museums is a great way to spend 72h in the area. On top of it, the price for the card for 72h including entry to the Nasrid Palaces PLUS the independent tour was still cheaper than a ticket with a tour to the Alhambra ONLY. So this card is definitely the way to go, I also appreciate the separate bus ticket cards that are rechargeable and all the additional access to museums and other points of interest. Don't miss the cathedral!Petr

Despite the negative reviews found on the Web our experience was great. We had excellent tour with Miguel who spoke excellent english, he was really experienced and knew everything about Alhambra and Generalife and much more. Nicely spent 2.5 hours with interesting guidance and good sense of humor.Jean-marc

I didn't quite understand that it was all about the Alcazaba, the gardens and the Generalife. A bit disappointed as it's a trip I don't think I'll be able to do again. However, we really enjoyed Granada.View original review in French
Immerse yourself in the timeless history and beauty of the Alhambra palace and fortress complex, one of the biggest examples of medieval Islamic culture and architecture, situated in picturesque Andalusia.
Soak Up The Alcazaba's Architecture
The oldest surviving fortress section of Alhambra, the Alcazaba has been restored many times over the years and consists of looming outer walls, towers, and ramparts. The Candle Tower, or ‘Torre de la Vela’, is a highlight of this section, being the largest tower. The scenic Garden of the Adarves, located on the low adarve of the fortress, is where you’ll get the most sprawling views of the city from here.
Visit The Promenade of the Cypress & San Francisco Gardens
A walkway with leaning cypress trees correctly describes the shaded Promenade of the Cypress. With this ticket, you also have access to the Secano or Drylands (an unirrigated section of land), and the lush and expansive San Francisco Gardens.
Wander Through The Generalife Palace & Gardens
Truly a masterpiece in outdoor garden architecture, the Generalife Palace & Gardens used to be an escape from court duties and affairs for the royal kings. Stroll through the manicured gardens with fountains and lush greenery, complementing the simple structure of the palace. Other spaces to explore here include the legendary Soultana’s Court, the oldest Water Stairway, and The Court of the Main Canal.
