It has been very easy and fast the purchase and access to the enclosure. Small detail to improve, that is located and described better and more intuitively which are the tickets. It happened to us to confuse the amphitheaters for having entered by another side and to make a mistake with the audios at the beginning. Everything else, great.

I arrived at 7:20 for an 8 o'clock entry. I was one of the first people there. This gave me time to soak it all in. By 7:30 people began arriving. By 8:00 there was a line down the hill. The morning sunrise over the Acropolis is amazing.

It was incredible to get to see the buildings that you had been studying in history for years. It also gave a fantastic panoramic view of the city of Athens.

Very easy to book. We went (to the Acropolis) fairly early (9.30am)..so the crowds were very manageable. The site itself was fabulous...could recommend to anyone who is interested in history/architecture etc.

We purchased the Acropolis site and museum guided tour, downloaded to my phone and myself and my partner shared earphones to listen throughout. At some points it's hard to determine where you need to be for what the guide is talking about but it's probably as detailed as it can be! We selected an 8am slot for the Acropolis itself and although it was very busy, it wasn't too busy. It's also a good time to avoid the midday heat.

Discover Acropolis at your own pace

Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Athenian history at your own pace with this self-guided audio tour. Download the tour before you arrive and start your exploration at the Acropolis entrance. Wander freely through the archaeological site, following the path that takes you past architectural marvels like the Parthenon, a temple once dedicated to Athena, and the Propylaea gateway, the grand entrance that frames the Acropolis.

Uncover the Athenian history

Listen to the narration on your audio guide, available in multiple languages, to unlock the stories behind each monument. Admire the Caryatids, the graceful maidens supporting the Erechtheion porch, and take in breathtaking panoramic views of Athens from atop the Acropolis. Descend from the Acropolis and use the audio guide to navigate your way to the nearby Acropolis Museum, where you can dive deeper into the unearthed treasures and artifacts. The museum's glass floor sections offer a mesmerizing glimpse into the archaeological site buried beneath your feet – a true window to the past.
