If you want to learn about the history and experience the atmosphere of Auschwitz then this tour does it all. Covering the 2 main camps be prepared to be shocked , saddened and moved as most people on our trip were. Sadly some people have no respect but if you ignore them and take in everything you are shown , and that you hear then I guarantee this experience will never leave you. Excellent guide. Wear comfy shoes. And if the weathers hot take sun cream as the second camp is all outdoors

Very well organised tour. Picked up on time at our hotel, the trip duration was explained and the journey was comfortable. Don't forget to take photo I.D. as there is a security check at the start of the tour. I chose not to take any photographs out of respect for the thousands who lost their life in these terrible places, but some people did take photos. There were a few areas where it was strictly forbidden for obvious reasons. Definitely worth doing an organised trip so that you don't end up waiting for ages for groups of your language to build up. Solemn trip, but we'll worth it.

Everything was well organized and both drivers were very friendly and spoke English well. I felt save with them in their cars. They picked us up and returned to the hotel on time and created a good atmosphere on the way while visiting a very sad place. We had a nice lunch break before the visit in the Salt mine. Don´t forget to bring a snack - we had the lunch around 2,30 pm. The guide in the Salt mine was great, I really enjoyed the visit. The guide in Auschitz wasn´t so good. I had a feeling we were rushed through in Auschwitz and sometimes I couldn´t understand the guide well. The tour got better in Birkenau where we had more time to look around. Don´t forget to bring some protection against sun - there isn´t any shade in Birkenau.
  • Visit Auschwitz-Birkenau

The tour begins with a pickup in Krakow. Travel to Auschwitz-Birkenau, where the guide takes you on an emotional and informative tour of the largest death camp in history. The Auschwitz I museum reminds us of the Holocaust's cruelty, terror, and genocide. The guide will lead you through the history of the largest concentration camp in Europe, where over 1.5 million people from 28 nationalities were executed. It is impossible not to be moved by this place's tragic history. After a break, visit the Birkenau Museum with the same guide. See the prisoners' personal belongings such as items of clothing, documents, and photographs that give you a more detailed view of their lives and sufferings in these camps.

    Explore the salt mine

Continue to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, one of the oldest working salt mines in the world, for a two-hour walking tour. The salt mine has continuously produced salt since the 13th century. Before entering the salt mine, take a 45-minute lunch break to refuel for the rest of the day's journey. Post lunch, as you descend the stairs to a depth of 135 meters, you will enter a different world showcasing numerous rock salt statues, chandeliers and a magnificent cathedral. All along the 3.5 km route, the guide will point out the original mining tools and equipment and describe the daily life of the Wieliczka miners as they excavated salt underground.

As the day winds down, leave with a deeper appreciation for history and a newfound respect for the resilience of the human spirit.
