Lions, tigers, crocs, oh my
Head to Sriayuthaya Lion Park, where you'll spend a thrilling morning hanging out with some of the coolest cats in town. Watch in awe as lions chow down during feeding time, and keep your eyes peeled for sleek tigers and spotted leopards. The park's famous crocodile show is a must-see, featuring the rare Siamese crocodile.
Temples, costumes, and a taste of Thai culture
In the afternoon, explore some of Ayutthaya's most famous temples, each with its unique story. At Wat Mahatat, you'll see the iconic Buddha head peeking out from twisted tree roots, and at Wat Phra Si Sanphet, you'll learn why this temple was once reserved only for Ayutthayan kings. Also, you can ride an elephant for 10 minutes here.
