What to Expect On Your Half-day Visit

Following a quick briefing about whales, board the designated boat for the excursion out to sea where you will learn more about whales, other marine species, their natural habitats, communication patterns, migration patterns, and behavioral patterns. On the tour, you will get a close-up look at the volcano and resident wildlife while marine biologists and naturalists provide commentary. Make sure to capture moments with your camera when you see the wildlife.

The tour is conducted in English and Portuguese.
The experience is suitable for a pram/stroller.
Life jackets are mandatory for semi-rigid and fiber boats.
Individuals must wear waterproof jackets while riding the speed and fiber boats.
It’s advised to wear warm clothes, waterproof shoes or slippers during the summer.
