On your half-day trip to the sea, get the opportunity to know more about what's hidden beneath the crystal clear blue water of the Azores. With the help of different boats available on board, you’ll have the chance to reach the center of the sea (i.e, south of the island) and meet these animals, on your journey full of fun, adventure, and discovery.
What to Expect On Your Half-day Visit
Following a quick briefing about whales, board the designated boat for the excursion out to sea where you will learn more about whales, other marine species, their natural habitats, communication patterns, migration patterns, and behavioral patterns. On the tour, you will get a close-up look at the volcano and resident wildlife while marine biologists and naturalists provide commentary. Make sure to capture moments with your camera when you see the wildlife.
