We were very pleasantly surprised by the wealth of information provided. This house is definitely worth a visit. Only the fact that you have to plan far in advance when you want to visit this attraction is not so nice (no spontaneous decision possible as there are no free dates at short notice)

La Pedrera is Gaudi's magic, decades ahead in thinking about the transformation of architecture. Too bad about the bad weather - rain - that prevented us from visiting the terrace. Booking in advance, however, has the advantage of saving you a few euros on the ticket price.Fays

I loved what Gaudi left us, I really loved it! Magnificent. It's brilliant. On the other hand, the additions at the start and end of the tour (black staircases topped with metal chains by a Japanese artist) and visual immersion (by a Turkish artist), just brutally break the enchantment of Gaudi's gadeau. A pity, really!

Unconventional though La Pedrera-Casa Milà's appearance may be, the actual purpose of the structure is as conventional as it can be. After all, the building is, first and foremost, residential. It's hard to imagine that the place was designed to be anyone's home, but as you walk through La Pedrera-Casa Milà's lavishly adorned lobbies or the sprawling courtyards peppered with Gaudí's signature embellishments, living here seems like a dream come true. Touring the La Pedrera-Casa Milà by day involves visiting two different parts of the museum - the Espai Gaudí and the Pedera Apartment. The former includes a broad showcase of Gaudi’s work and is divided into sections dedicated to different projects and shows his life in broad strokes. The latter is a fascinating recreation of the home of a bourgeois family in Barcelona from the first third of the 20th century.
