Moco Museum
Amsterdam-based Moco Museum has opened its doors in Barcelona for the first time! The museum is housed in the heart of the city, inside the 18th-century palace, Palacio Cervelló. Moco Barcelona features masterpieces from Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Banksy, and Salvador Dalí. All this, apart from the amazing digital and immersive art run by teamLab, Les Fantômes, and Studio Irma. Walk through the Bansky exhibit which features notable artworks like 'Laugh Now', 'Girl with Balloon', 'Flower Thrower', 'Forgive Us For Our Trespassing', 'Bullet Hole Bust', and more.
Cathedral of Barcelona
Located in the historic Gothic Quarter, the Cathedral of Barcelona took about 150 years to construct and at least 3 different periods of architecture are visible here. Enjoy stunning views of the Gothic Quarter from the top. Enter the choir, one of the most significant sculptural works in the Catalan Gothic style. See the 15th-century pinnacles and canopies, the wooden pulpit at the entrance on the right, and marvel at the commemorative shields painted by Juan de Borgoña on the choir stalls. Spot the Well of the Geese, a fountain home to 13 geese that symbolize Saint Eulalia was 13 when she died. Don’t miss out on entering the Sala Capitular (Chapter House), swathed in rich red carpet and graced with fine timber seating, home to select artworks.
