About BELANTIS Adventure realm
The Belantis theme park in Leipzig is one of the most popular amusement parks in East Germany. Sprawling over 27 hectares, it offers approximately 60 different attractions spread across 8 themed areas. In addition to roller coasters and water rides, you can go on a treasure-hunting expedition in the Valley of the Pharaohs, witness a medieval clash of swords at the Island of Knights, or unearth the rich traditions of the Native American Prairie. These adventures are perfect for visitors of all ages.
The Curse of the Pharaoh roller coaster is known to have the longest mirrored section in Europe, creating a disorienting experience for visitors. Hold on to your hats as you walk along this section!
Unlike traditional gondolas in Venice, Belantis offers a unique gondola ride in the Land of Gondolets. Instead of just sailing along canals, these gondolas offer a glimpse of the underwater world.
The power-packed, adrenaline-inducing ‘Huracan' at Belantis isn’t just for show. Housed within a big pyramid, this roller coaster once held the Guinness World Record for the steepest incline on a ride. The first drop is angled at 95 degrees and the ride reaches up to 85 km/hour.
The theme park’s entrance is designed to resemble a medieval castle, complete with turrets and a drawbridge. The gate is expansive and grand. Its size matches the park’s area, which is spread across 27 hectares.
The Belantis Adventure Realm is built on a former open-cast lignite mine. You may find remnants of the mine around the theme park.

Main entrance
The Belantis Adventure Realm has a single main entrance, designed like a medieval castle. The gate features turrets and a drawbridge and gives off an imposing aura. The castle-like exterior facade sets the tone for the innumerable exhilarating adventures inside. The area is spacious and perfect for accommodating large groups of visitors. The main entrance is near the A38 motorway, easily accessible by cars and the metro.
The theme park is open from 10am to 8pm around Halloween.
The Silbermunze on Alter Marketplatz and the Schloss Laden on Schlossplatz offers a range of goods, toys, postcards, clothes, and other collectibles.
You can access restroom facilities inside the theme park, at any of their dining establishments, or near the entrance.

You can park your car at Parkplatz Belantis in front of the Belantis Castle-like entrance.
