The beauty and serenity of the site, with exceptional light that day. We're never disappointed on any visit. And bravo for the wire cutter, which avoids endless queues.

The monastery is a unique place for anyone interested in Lisbon's history. Unfortunately, I could not find clear information about which parts were visitable without a ticket and which were not. However, the cost of the ticket (Euro 18, full price) is high for the time of the visit (1-2 hours). I would have expected that it would be possible to buy an integrated ticket with other museums nearby (such as the maritime museum, or the planetarium).

The monastery is beautiful, a place to visit without a doubt, but I would like to make a point, people who have purchased the ticket to visit the mosaterio should have preference to see the church, once you have visited the monastery with the same ticket directly to the church, because in our case when we left there was a queue that went around and for time we could not stay and did not see the church and pay 18 € to see only the monastery, it is very expensive ...

The Monastry was breath-taking! Absolutely stunning - the intricate stone carving inside the Monastry is a marvel. I was there in January, and I went at opening time on a week day morning so it was relatively quiet compared to peak season. However, with my prepaid ticket I was able to walk straight in without any queueing. Excellent :)

The Tour is very well organized ... the tour leader was very good at telling us the history of the Stadium and Benfica .

SL Benfica Stadium

Enter the magnificent SL Benfica Stadium, taking in a panoramic view from the stand. Visit the dressing room to know where legendary players prepared for a game. If you are curious to know what the first-ever dressing room at the stadium looked like put on your VR goggles and find out! Whether you wish to be a coach or a player sit before the lights in the press conference room and experience the thrill of it all. Walk down the Hall of Fame and see the people who made history at Benfica. Feel your heart beating faster as you walk out through the Tunnel and imagine the voices of thousands cheering for victory before you step out onto the pitch feeling the grass. Meet Gloria, Vitoria, and Luz – American Bald Eagles and mascots of the club.

Benfica Museum

The Benfica Museum built in honor of the stadium's legacy is a testament to the victories it has seen, proof of that is Eclectic Pride – a singular structure that displays trophies that the club has seen. Visit the accolades of players who left a mark at the Black Panther and other legends display. Experience European glory as you explore the European Champion Club’s Cups. Enjoy the feel of a match by kicking a virtual penalty at the museum or experiencing the excitement of a match day.

Jerónimos Monastery

A Portuguese national monument since 1907 and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1983, the Jerónimos Monastery is one of the highest symbols of medieval Portuguese architecture. Historically and artistically connected to the Belém Tower, both these notable landmarks of Lisbon were built on the initiative of King Manuel I, who ruled between 1495 and 1521. In fact, the Belém Tower was built not only to protect the port of Lisbon but also for the Jerónimos Monastery.

Soak up the different elements that make up this stunning model of Manueline architectural style including Gothic, Moorish, and Renaissance styles. The two levels of cloisters are so intricate and filled with structural detail that they took a hundred years to be completed! Spot mythical creatures like gargoyles and marine animals within the carvings, columns, and arches. Don’t miss the vaulted ceilings on the lower level of the monastery or the views from the higher level of the adjacent Church of Santa Maria de Belem. Opt for a Lisbon Card that gives you access to sites like the Belém Tower, the National Costume Museum and the National Museum of the Azulejo, and more, with free transportation, for a hassle-free sightseeing experience.
