Journey Through History, Architecture, and Culture
See the very best of what Palermo has to offer on a comfortable bike tour that lets you cover more ground than a walking tour. Influenced by the Arabic, Norman, and Byzantine empires, the city is blessed with unique architecture and culture. Admire the city's symbol, the Palermo Cathedral, which is also one of the oldest churches in the world. Pass by the Palazzo dei Normanni and hear about the beautiful Palatine Chapel with several Byzantine mosaics that are housed within.
Indulge in Sicilian Granita
Take a breather at the end of the bike ride and reward yourself with a delicious Sicilian granita. You have not really known the crushed ice flavored with fruit unless you have tasted it the Sicilian way! The semi-frozen dessert is prepared with water and sugar before any flavors are added. Enjoy the refreshing treat while hearing stories about Sicily’s capital.
