The Blue Man theater is one of the most prominent performance areas inside the Luxor Hotel and Casino. When the group debuted in the city in 2000, the Luxor Hotel was its first home. Although the group transferred to other venues after 2005, it returned to its original host in 2015 with a new ad improved theater space custom-built to serve their unique production. The space is characterized by dark, minimalist decor, which allows the vibrant colors and lights of the show to stand out.

Accessibility

Accessible seating: Wheelchair accesible spots are reserved rows A and H of sections 102 and 103. The upper level is not accessible by guests with limited mobility.

Scripts: If you are a person with visual or aural impairements, you can request the production and staff for a script before the show to ensure you have a seamless experience.

Level access: The theater connected to the rest of the hotel via elevators and escalators.

Available Facilities

Pets and service animals: Pets can accompany you in the hotel during your stay, at an additional fee, but may not be allowed inside the theater. Companions and aids can accompany guests with disabilities in all parts of the hotel. A permit may be required for entry.

  • Theatrical effects:The performance includes strobe lights and loud sounds which may be difficult for some. Please contact the usher before you enter so they can escort you during that portion of the show.
  • Etiquettes: The production encourages audience participation and patrons are may even be called to the stage. It is acceptable to clap, hoot, and verbally support the performers during the show, although insulting language and degrading gestures should be avoided.
  • Explore the hotel: Capture a selfie with the 110-foot-tall replica of the Great Sphinx near the entrance in the morning, when the beautiful desert sun illuminates the structure. You can also explore the hotel's history at the exhibition containing a replica of the tomb of Tutankhamun.
  • For the summers: If you're visiting the city between May and September, don't miss a day by the pool. Most of the hotels on the Strip have expansive pool areas with top-rated amenities, where you can often enjoy a great party.

Getting There


Bus: You can reach the theater via the Deuce on the Strip, which stops directly in front of the Luxor.

Monorail: The nearest station is at the MGM Grand, about a 15-minute walk from the Luxor.

Tram: A free tram service connects the Luxor to Excalibur and Mandalay Bay, making it convenient for guests staying at nearby hotels.

Parking:Self-parking is available in the Luxor’s garage for a fee, with rates starting at $18 per day for weekdays and $23 for weekends. Valet parking is also available for $35 per day. Parking fees are subject to change during special events, so it's advisable to check current rates before your visit.
