Miami Grand Prix 2023

The Miami Grand Prix, first held in 2022, was the first ever F1 race to be held in the state. The winner of the inaugural Grand Prix was Max Verstappen, now two-time world champion. This win helped him close in on Charles Leclerc’s lead in the Championship, and secured him his third win of the season.

The track features 3 DRS (Drag Reduction System) detection zones, giving drivers 3 separate opportunities to overtake other drivers when they activate DRS. The most challenging point of the circuit is considered to be the sharp hairpin at turn 17. The fast corner through turn 16 is also another highlight, where drivers go past at over 200 kmph.
