About the Show
Guess who’s making a triumphant return to West End’s Royal Haymarket Theatre? It’s Heathers The Musical for a limited 12-week season! The 2021 edition of Heathers The Musical stars Christina Bennington as Veronica Sawyer and Jordan Luke Gage as Jason Dean. Making a comeback to the role of Heather is Jodie Steele who is joined by Bobbie Little as Heather Duke and Frances Mayli McCann as Heather McNamara. Outrageously funny and smart, the musical features book, music and lyrics by Kevin Murphy and Laurence O’Keefe. Heathers The Musical is the stage adaptation of the 1988 cult classic starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater. The West End musical is produced by Bill Kenwright and Paul Taylor-Mills, the dynamic duo associated with the beloved stage adaptation of Carrie.
The Story
Welcome to Westerberg High and meet Veronica Sawyer, just another plain girl dreaming and hoping for a better day. Watch as she is surprisingly taken under the wings of the three stunning and cunning Heathers. As Veronica’s dreams of becoming finally come true, a mysterious teen rebel, JD, arrives to stir things up and teaches her valuable lessons about self-worth.

The Royal Haymarket Theatredates all the way back to 1720. While the original building was down north in the same street, it has called its current location home since 1821, with a redesign by John Nash. The Haymarket is revered for being the home of some of the most important innovations in theatre. The theatre hosted the first scheduled matinée performance in 1873, starting a practice that was eventually adopted by other theatres around the world.
