  • Purchase Your Pass: Buy the pass online or at select train stations before your journey.
  • Get the Rail Planner App: Add your pass to the Rail Planner app for easy access
  • Activate Your Pass: Activate your pass on the app. You'll need your passport, and a start date!
  • Plan Your Journey: This includes setting up the app with a new trip; a trip is attached to every pass. Save your journey once you plan it, i.e., once you figure out your routes!
  • Showing Your Ticket: Once you add your journey to your pass, you'll be able to access the ticket from My Pass > Show Your Ticket.
  • Reserve Seats (if needed): Some high-speed and overnight trains may require reservations, which can be made at train stations or online.

  • Multiple Passes can be added to one device, but once activated, they cannot be transferred to another device. All group members must travel together.
  • If multiple passes are linked to one device and you're travelling in a group, the ticket for each individual will need to be displayed.
  • Each Child Pass must be linked to an Adult Pass, and children under 4 travel for free without a Pass.

  • Night Trains: For night trains, you only use one travel day. If the night train arrives after midnight, only your departure day counts as a travel day.
  • Continuing Travel: If you change trains and continue your journey after the night train, you'll need to use another travel day, which will be prompted when adding this journey to your Pass.
