Jeremy Jordan to play Seymour in the off-Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors!
Starting 17 March, Jeremy Jordan will take over the role of Seymour in the off-Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors. The show, playing at the Westside Theater, has received an extension, now running till 10 May 2020.
Jordan’s Broadway résumé includes performances in Waitress, American Son, Bonnie and Clyde, Rock of Ages, and West Side Story; on screen, he can be seen in Supergirl, Smash, and The Last Five Years.
Little Shop of Horrors tells the story of Seymour, a down-on-his-luck florist who has a crush on his co-worker Audrey. He discovers a mysterious plant that he and Audrey have to fight in order to save the human race. The show is a perfect blend of comedy and horror set to a background score of rock music.
The cast also includes Tammy Blanchard as Audrey, Christian Borle as Orin Scrivello D.D.S. and Tom Alan Robbins among others.

The off-Broadway production features music by Alan Menken, and a book and lyrics by Howard Ashman. It has been directed by Michael Mayer, features choreography by Ellenore Scott, and music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Will Van Dyke.
