A-Z Guide on Kiln Theatre, London

Last Updated:

Originally a meeting hall for the Friendly Society of Forresters, first became a popular entertainment venue when converted into the Tricycle Theatre in 1980. Known for its politically charged performances, the venue became a symbol of London's diverse cultural landscape. A devastating fire in 1987 led to a complete reconstruction, funded through public donations and support, after which it was renamed the 'Kiln' Theatre in 2018.
