Having already conquered Broadway with its musical adaptation of the cult classic film, Mean Girls', the West End debut is now poised to unleash its wild and sassy high school antics upon London's Savoy theatre (not the smaller Other Place). Cast and creatives
While the cast playing the iconic Mean Girls characters is yet to be announced, we expect nothing less than extraordinary from the creative ensemble behind the West End debut. Tina Fey, the genius behind the film's screenplay, has also penned the musical's book and the captivating music is orchestrated by Fey's husband, Jeff Richmond. The witty lyrics are crafted by the talented Nell Benjamin, renowned for her contributions to Legally Blonde. When it hit Broadway, the production was masterminded by a powerhouse team including Lorne Michaels, Stuart Thompson, and Sonia Friedman, with the brilliant direction and choreography of Casey Nicholaw.
