A Nordic twist on the legendary Orient Express, the Norient Express - Norway’s soon-to-be-launched luxury train service - is set to take you on a six-day adventure through some of Norway’s most iconic landscapes - from fjords and mountains to lakes and glaciers. Oh, and if you’re lucky, perhaps the Northern Lights too!
What makes it even more special is that this one is all about slow travel. Powered by electricity, there will be two trains that begin their journey in the coastal city of Bergen, heads southeast through Oslo, and concludes in the historic city of Trondheim. Featuring comfortable interiors made from natural Norwegian materials, an exercise room, and an observatory for passengers to enjoy the views, this one promises to be a sustainable and wonderful way to soak up the natural beauty of the Land of the Midnight Sun.
