About Circle In The Square Theatre
A relatively new theatre on the Broadway circuit, Circle in the Square opened in 1972 and is located at the Paramount Plaza. Featuring a strikingly different layout than your average Broadway theatre, Circle in the Square offers a unique viewing experience that is hard to replicate anywhere else in Broadway!
Seating Capacity & Orientation
Circle in the Square is one of the smaller mainstream theatres in the Broadway circuit, with a seating capacity of 776. These seats are placed similar to a stadium with the stage in the middle, which is surrounded by rows upon rows of seats going around in a circular fashion. Additional seats are available in boxes and standing room.
Orchestra Level: The only section in Circle in the Square theatre, the orchestra is designed to mimic a horseshoe. There's a stage in the middle of the theatre surrounded by naturally inclined rows. If you prefer an immersive view of the stage, we would recommend getting seats in the first five rows from AA to EE.
Value-for-money seats: If you're looking to not overspend on your Broadway experience and still get decent seats, opt for any seat in rows H and K in center orchestra.
Premium seats: Get the best viewing experience from the premium seats available in rows AA to B.
Essential Tips
- Only the orchestra level is wheelchair-accessible in Circle in the Square theatre, so book your tickets accordingly if you need wheelchair accessibility.
- Additional hearing devices are available at the theatre for hearing impaired patrons. Contact the theater usher to get a device.
- While the seating is divided into orchestra and mezzanine, inside the theatre, all the seats are labeled as orchestra. So, the only way to identify your exact seat is by looking at the seat number. While booking seats, check with the seller where exactly the seats in question are located.
- An escalator from the street level to the orchestra is available for physically-challenged patrons. There's an elevator available in the theatre as well.
