About the Show

The Book of Mormon at West End is a satirical musical comedy, which is still drawing the crowds in droves, even four years after its West End debut. The laugh riot written by South Park creators, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, along with Robert Lopez, is one of the best musical comedies to play at the West End in recent times. Touching upon serious subjects, it offers a pointed view on everything from organized religion, to development and economics. Bordering on the irreverent, The Book of Mormon makes the audience laugh and ponder at the same time! Buy the Book of Mormon tickets for an evening of rib-tickling humor and pacy entertainment. The Story

Faith and organized religion get tested in the murky waters of the musical comedy, The Book of Mormon. Two missionaries belonging to the Church of Latter Day Saints are sent to a town in Uganda to spread the message of god. The young Mormon missionaries, Elder Price and Elder Cunningham have to face to the reality of the Ugandan people, who are more worried about issues like AIDS, poverty, war, and famine, than religion. An unlikely pair, they set out to achieve their mission, but face rejection and disappointment early on.

The musical ponders on the blurring lines between the written word and interpretation of the book of god. Managing their own conflicting personalities, Price and Cunningham have to rise to the occasion and commit to the mission. Watch The Book of Mormon at West End to find out whether or not they succeed!
