Steps and stairs: Given the tent setup and raked seating, it’s important to note that there are plenty of stairs at these events. That said, the space makes accommodations for patrons with mobility needs including handrails, ramps and platforms for wheelchair users, accessible seating options, companion seats, and accessible toilets.

Accessible seating: Wheelchair-accessible seating is placed closer to entrances for easier access.

Audiovisual assistance: The venue provides hearing assistance via hearing loop systems and makes accommodations for guide and service dogs.

Accessible Washrooms: Accessible toilets are near the main seating sections for easy access. They are equipped with handrails.

Parking: The Wilson Parking at the Entertainment Quarter offers paid parking spots for visitors. There are additional paid lots all around the venue, the nearest one being The Gordon Car Park - InterPark.

Open plan: The Showring’s open plan makes it a wonderfully communal space with plenty of sights to see and ways to enjoy the show. Seated events may not have the same freedom of movement, but the space’s other facilities are adapted to suit each show.

Restrooms: There are restrooms across the venue to make access easier and prevent long lines. That said, a 10,000-strong event can still lead to huge crowds, so plan your trips to the restrooms strategically.

Food and drink: The venue has a bar that serves drinks during most events. It additionally has stalls and other pop-ups depending on the shows being staged.

Shopping: In addition to food, the stalls and pop-ups may sell other items, including merchandise. If you happen to spot something that takes your fancy, be sure to grab it before it runs out!

Getting There


Bus: Route 355 goes around the Entertainment Quarter with the stop at the entrance on Lang Road. Routes 339, 373, 374, and 392N also stop within walking distance of the venue.

Light rail: The Moore Park station on Anzac Parade services lines Ls, L3, and LX and is within a 15-minute walk from The Showring.
