The Plastics are back! Tina Fey is bringing back the bite and drama of your favourite suburban Illinois high school with the Broadway adaption of the 2004 cult classic, Mean Girls. Join Cady Heron as she wades the treacherous waters of a school run by the resident mean gang, the Plastics.
The breakout hit Mean Girls is here again with a brand new cast playing characters you love to hate. Oh, and it's on Broadway complete with song, dance and all that jazz! Tina Fey is back on board as the writer with Casey Nicholaw of Aladdin and The Book of Mormon fame handling the director duties. Updated to realistically depict the lives of social media savant teens of today, the show promises to deliver on everything you loved about the movie and more! Discover the power of friendship, enmity and everything in between with the ferociously funny comedy for the ages.
Despite growing up on an African savanna, nothing could have prepared Cady Heron for the wild and vicious ways of her seeming demure yet strange new home: suburban Illinois. Ambitions and a golden opportunity collide and Cady is suddenly rising to the top of the popularity pecking order. How? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of mean girls, led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But, when Cady concocts a plan to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a Queen Bee without getting stung.
