The entire day ran very well. Pickup was on time. The guide, Dave has an infectious enthusiasm and love for Bruny Island with spirited commentary, humorous anecdotes and interesting details. Food was excellent wityh a highlight being eating oysters and cheese overlooking a quiet bay where Captain Cook anchored around 250 years previously. An enjoyable mix of great views and great food.

Weathered walls and wallabies

Here's a full day of fun: Hit the road early and grab a pick-me-up at Gateway Cafe before you cross the D’Entrecasteaux Channel by ferry. Every bend is a photo-opp and expert guides ensure you don’t miss those frameable moments. Upon arrival on Bruny Island, soak in the beauty of Mount Mangana where elusive white wallabies may be seen between ferns and in the paddocks. Stop at many click-worthy spots– the Neck Wildlife Zone, Truganini Lookout, Two Tree Point, and Cape Bruny Lighthouse Station.

Psst.. the past is calling. The weathered walls of Tasmanian lighthouses shield tales of a bygone era – shipwrecks, brave lighthouse keepers who guided lost souls home, and the drama of countless storms. Ascend the spiral iron staircase to enjoy spectacular coastal views from the Cape Bruny Lighthouse.

Your tastebuds’ ticket to Tasmania

Savour delicious cheese, fresh oysters, and freshly baked bread. During lunch, feast on ocean-to-plate delicacies, succulent local lamb, and spectacular views over the waterways. Seal the deal with fudge and chocolate samples, and honey tastings all before heading home with a full heart, tummy, and phone gallery.
