The Szechenyi Thermal baths were fantastic. What a lovely experience, varying from the thermal outdoor pools to a wide variety of indoor pools, all at different temperatures. Everything was well organised and easy to navigate.Maria

The reservation with Headout was no problem. We went in and everything we booked was included. Széchenyi Spa was a disappointment. Too many people and the outside pools were separated by a tarp (perhaps construction work) which made it look bad. I regret having opted for this spa. I am sure any other in Budapest would have been a more pleasant experience. I will be backCarolyn

Amazing place - I've not been to a thermal bath before and this was a great experience. It was being refurbished so one of the pools was currently closed. Perhaps at £30 for basic entry a little expensive but you could stay all day. If you want to Would recommend a visit.Aileen

A great day out and once in a lifetime experience, however the main pool is closed for refurbishment (as you can see on the right of the photograph, there was scaffolding all round it) which we had not been told about. We would've chosen a different experience had we known. Was a bit disappointing.Janette

Very clean, well-run, and the food was excellent. The lifeguards were brilliant at curtailing any antics and there was a really chilled vibe in beautiful surroundings. The thermal bath is an amazing experience. Loved the secure cabins. A memorable day.
Feel the Stress Leave Your Body at Széchenyi Spa
With 15 indoor pools and 3 open-air bathing facilities, the Széchenyi Spa is considered the largest in all of Europe. It is most known for its massive outdoor thermal pool that has a running temperature of 40°C, perfect to keep you warm even on the coldest winter days! Just picture floating in a pool of healing water.
The Széchenyi Spa feeds on the city’s extended thermal spring network running below the earth. This hidden gem has always pulled in settlers and cultures throughout history, starting with the Roman Empire, who developed their own bathing culture in the location of today’s Budapest during the 1st to the 5th century. Get skip-the-line entry to this healing spa and enjoy the ultimate rejuvenating experience!
Visit Budapest GastroCellar
Visit a hidden gem in the heart of the city to sample the famous Hungarian Palinkas. Different from whiskey or vodka, palinka is made exclusively from different types of fruits and has a pleasant aromatic smell. Learn all about the history of the delicious beverage as you enjoy a guided tour of the Budapest GastroCellar and a one-of-a-kind interactive exhibition. Then, relish in the taste of one of the best samples of palinka (spirits; non-alcoholic drinks are also available).
