Best of Budapest
Enjoy our 3-hour live guided city tour with a professional guide and then a memorable sightseeing cruise on the Danube. The tour begins with a 3-hour Grand City Tour of Budapest. Pass by the iconic Parliament building before crossing the Danube River on the Margaret Bridge. The bus will take you to the Royal Castle area on the Buda side, where you will enjoy a short walk to the Fisherman’s Bastion and see the exterior of Matthias Church.
Next, the tour continues up the Gellért Hill, where you will have a photo stop and time to take in the great views over all of Budapest. After this stop the bus will take you across the Elizabeth Bridge and along Andrássy Avenue to Heroes’ Square. Pass by the Opera and St. Stephen’s Basilica on the way back to the Intercontinental Hotel, where the bus tour ends.
Cruise along the Danube
The boat tour departs from "Vigadó tér, Dock 6". After passing by the grand building of the Parliament, you can admire the Castle District, which is home to the Royal Castle, the Matthias Church and the Fisherman’s Bastion. Further down the river, you will encounter the Liberty Monument and the Citadel, both located on top of Gellert Hill. As you continue the tour to the south, you will see the “Petőfi” and “Rákóczi” bridges. After turning around with the boat, you can check out the University of Technology and Economics of Budapest and the "Bálna" Convention Center. The cruise will end at the same dock where it started.
