Upgrade to fast-track or SKY tickets. Skip 30–45 min queues during peak hours. Fast-track gets you to level 124 in ~15 min; SKY adds lounge access. Worth it on weekends or Nov–Mar.

Visit 45 min before sunset. Get daylight views, sunset over the Gulf, and the city lit up at night in one visit. Book tickets 1 hour before sunset for best timing.

Use the AR telescopes. AR viewers on levels 124–125 identify landmarks in real time. Interactive screens show old Dubai photos over today’s skyline. Audio guides are free.

Did you know?

Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, creates its own microclimate, with temperatures at the top being up to 7 degrees Celsius cooler than at the ground. The Burj Khalifa uses 946,000 liters of water daily, enough to fill 20 Olympic swimming pools. The building's cooling system waste heat provides completely free water heating.

Believe it or not, the Burj Khalifa's exterior is covered in over 26,000 glass panels, which are cleaned by a team of professional window washers who use 36 km of rope to descend from the top. The reinforced steel bars laid end to end would stretch 2,909 kilometers: a quarter of the way around Earth or from Dubai to Tehran.

The building's spire at the top is not just for show - it acts as a lightning rod and prevents the building from being struck by lightning. During construction, concrete was poured continuously for 36 hours to create the foundation, the largest continuous concrete pour ever recorded. The pour used 12,500 cubic meters of concrete mixed with ice to prevent cracking.

Level 125 Observation Deck with Mashrabiya Motifs (456 meters)

Level 125 sits directly above 124 and offers similar views from 4 meters higher. Traditional Arabic Mashrabiya lattice panels line the walls—these geometric wooden screens are a tribute to Islamic architecture and filter light. The outdoor terrace here is larger than level 124's and less crowded. This level also houses premium photo stations where professional photographers take your photo against Dubai's skyline (photos available for purchase).

Level 148 SKY Observation Deck (555 meters)

The world's highest observation deck accessible to the public. Level 148 features floor-to-ceiling windows, an outdoor terrace, and the SKY lounge serving complimentary Arabic coffee, dates, and soft drinks. The height difference from level 124 (103 meters higher) is significant. You see the full shape of Palm Jumeirah from here. The outdoor terrace offers unobstructed photo opportunities without glass reflections. VIP access limits crowds to 60 guests at a time versus 600+ on level 124.

Levels 152-154 VIP Lounge (585 meters)

Level 152 is a private lounge with comfortable seating, gourmet canapés and desserts from Armani Hotel, and a welcome glass of bubbly (champagne or sparkling juice). Only 50 guests are admitted per hour. Level 153 features a half-glass outdoor terrace. Level 154 offers additional viewing space. The suite-like setting, personal service, and near-empty observation areas justify the premium price for visitors who want exclusivity. You also get access to all lower observation decks (124, 125, 148) after the lounge.

The Multimedia Presentation (Ground Level)

Before ascending, you watch a 4-minute multimedia presentation showing how the Burj Khalifa was built. You see time-lapse footage of the tower rising floor by floor, learn how concrete was pumped 606 meters vertically, and understand why the Y-shaped design prevents the building from swaying. Workers installed 4-5 floors per week during peak construction, 20 meters of vertical building every 7 days. The presentation includes interviews with architects and engineers.

We visited the Museum of the Future as a group of three and really enjoyed the experience. We especially liked how each floor was organized around a different theme, which made exploring the museum interesting and easy to follow. Our favorite part was the first chapter, especially the deck with the beautiful view. It was such a unique experience and definitely one of the highlights of our time in Dubai. Would recommend visiting!

As soon as you walk in, you’re immersed in a recreated tropical rainforest with impressive attention to detail: a waterfall, diverse wildlife (sloths, exotic birds, reptiles…), and a humid atmosphere that enhances the immersive experience. The tour through the different levels lets you explore the ecosystem from multiple perspectives, from the canopy down to the forest floor. The staff are helpful and passionate, sharing plenty of interesting facts about the species found there.
