Nice hike to do and easy trip back with shuttle bus. Claudia was ern fine guide who clearly told us how the gorge was formed and why the trail is there. Make sure that when entering the route in Google maps you choose a parking lot. We blindly followed the route given to us and ended up on top of a mountain.View original review in DutchKenneth

Regardless of the natural environment as such, already fantastic in itself, our guide Ana gave us all kinds of details and anecdotes of what happened in the work and subsequent developments.View original review in SpanishKamill

Bucket list must for thrill seekers
Cross off a must-do hike from your bucket list with these tickets granting access to the Caminito del Rey, renowned as one of the globe's most exhilarating and picturesque trails. Rest assured, it underwent extensive renovations in 2015, adhering to all safety regulations. The pathway winds along narrow cliff edges, suspended high above the rushing waters of the Guadalhorce River below. Along the way, you'll witness the rugged beauty of the Andalusian countryside, dotted with olive groves and almond orchards, framed by the distant peaks of the Sierra de Huma and the Sierra de las Nieves.
Conquer the cliffs and the tricky trails
Beyond the hike itself, learn the rich history of the area, from the remnants of the original pathway built in the early 20th century to the nearby ruins of ancient settlements. Rock climbing enthusiasts will find ample opportunities to test their skills on the rugged cliffs that frame the gorge, while birdwatchers can observe the diverse avian species that call this region home. Walk down steep hills with narrow curves on a cement boardwalk and the 'Butter Stairs,' named for their waveform, preserved during restoration. A major highlight is the Glass Balcony on the rocky buttress. The boardwalk, with its glass floor, tests visitors' vertigo, making you feel like you're standing over the abyss!
