Our favorite visit to Castel Sant'Angelo "**. We loved this iconic monument, which is both beautiful, well-maintained and super-convenient for visitors. It is an imposing castle. It is a museum but you can feel what it was like to live there. The atmosphere takes you back to the difficult and special era when it was at its peak. The view from the terrace is panoramic. Some will simply admire it. Others will think about ancient Rome up to our days, and the suffering of ordinary people.
