The design of Camp Nou was inspired by De Kuip, the home stadium of Feyenoord Rotterdam which features oval rings around the pitch.
In 1999, Camp Nou was the venue for the UEFA Champions League Final between Manchester United and Bayern Munich, where Manchester United staged a dramatic comeback to win the match.
Beyond football, Camp Nou has hosted various events, including Pope John Paul II celebrating Mass in front of over 121,500 attendees in 1982 and the Three Tenors concert featuring Josep Carreras, Plácido Domingo, and Luciano Pavarotti in 1997.
