The chateau is beautiful and well tended to. The town is absolutely wonderful. The place perfectly captures the beauty and atmosphere we tend to think of in connection to France. The art collection at the chateau includes some beautiful pieces, stained glass windows, a couple of Raphaels and thousands of manuscripts. The last duke's spirit lives in every room of his home.Sergio

Ticketing was confusing - should explain - no separate tkts for train & Chateau - had to hope we had what was needed - all worked ok but was uncertain. Explain free shuttle from train to Chateau
