So convenient. The only problem for untersbergbahn during winter is you can hardly see anything so others may consider doing it when the skies are not clear.

Basically everything. The public transport network is well developed and runs regularly, even late at night and at weekends. It was therefore easy to get to all the sights and museums. We also didn't have to queue for tickets, which was a particular advantage for the Festungsbahn to Hohensalzburg Fortress. In conclusion, we saw much more than we had planned, partly due to the weather - it was "paid for", so to speak. Many thanks for this and best wishes to Salzburg.

We were very disappointed that admission to the cathedral was not included in the Salzburg Card, although the Domquartier, the Residenz and the cathedral are advertised together in the heading on the inclusive services page. We also didn't expect that you would have to pick up the tickets physically on site after buying them online (this creates logistical problems if you live outside and still have to take the bus into the city without physical tickets). We also found the restrictions on visiting Hohensalzburg Fortress to be contradictory. The ride on the Untersbergbahn was definitely the highlight and we really enjoyed it!

I loved the fact that mass transportation was always on time and it was really good that we could plan ahead. Entering the attractions was also worth it. I would deffinitely recommend it if someone wants to visit this beautiful city.
