Apart from the oops Of going to the wrong place because they'd only moved a few weeks prior and the website hadn't been updated. The staff were supportive, friendly and just all round awesome. What a great little team they have! From the instructions given getting all geared up to the wealth of knowledge of our trusty leader heading up the heights of the bridge. My daughters 21st was a memorable one indeed! Would thoroughly recommend the experience to anyone. The whole experience was just great. We would do it again. The only disappointment was getting up there and seeing the poor state the flag was in. But this is an issue with the Brisbane council and shame on them for not up keeping such an easy asset on such a monument of their city. I understand they're busy repainting the bridge, why not go a small step further and ensure the flags are flying proud instead or torn and ripped and dilapidated like a sad rag. I hope this business goes from strength to strength though and wish them all the best in the future Two happy climbers 🧗 Carli and Erin

Probably one of the best activties that got to experience on a rainy day. The sheer shaking of the knees, adrenaline pumping through my body and the absolute calmness that overwhelmed me as we ascended to the top of the bridge were both terrifiying and electrifying! Nerves aside, absolutely recommend this to anyone in the Brisbane area to go climb the Storey Bridge with Grace as your guide! Tenk yu tumas, Thank you!

Your Experience

Enjoy the glory of Brisbane’s Story Bridge during the day on this spirited downtown adventure. The climb commences at the Climb base camp, directly under the bridge. After a quick briefing on the do’s and don’ts about the climb, ascend a spiral staircase that takes you to the start of the suspended walkway. Start your journey to the base of the southern pylon, collecting facts, stories, and myths about Brisbane’s colorful history along the way. You’ll climb through the inner Eastern bridge arm, ascend straight up the south-eastern cantilever arm that reaches up into the sky. Once at the top, drink in stunning 360-degree views of Brisbane and its gleaming surroundings. From the Glass House Mountains to Moreton Bay and south to the Scenic Rim, you’ll see it all. Say cheese as your group is photographed to commemorate the climb (if you want individual photographs, they are available for purchase).

Know Before You Go

COVID Safety Measures

Throughout the base camp, physical distancing will be maintained
Small groups of no more than 14 climbers per group will be permitted to ensure social distancing
Enhanced monitoring and health screening for all climbers will be in place
Hand washing, sanitizer stations, and other sanitary facilities are in place
Contactless transactions are preferred

Important Information

The climb experience lasts approximately 2 hours. This includes your briefing, safety demonstration, and the climbing route
Personal items will not be permitted on the bridge adventure climb, although lockers are provided
It is mandatory to wear fully enclosed rubber-soled footwear
All climbers must be at least 6 years of age with a minimum height of 110cm
Children aged between 6-16 years must be accompanied by an adult or guardian whilst climbing
At least one adult must accompany a child aged 6 to 10 years, whereas an adult can take responsibility for up to 3 children aged 10-16yrs
Children aged 5 years and under will be unable to participate
Every climber will be breathalyzed and must register under 0.05
The maximum weight limit is 130kgs
Climbs operate in most weather conditions, even rain
As climbers will not be permitted to take cameras (including video cameras) onto the climb, there are 3 photo opportunities that your climb leader will take photos from. Photos will be available to purchase from the photo-shop after your climb experience

Children aged 6-16yrs, students, seniors aged 60yrs and above, as well as families (2 adults and 2 children), enjoy reduced ticket pricing (carry a valid photo ID)
