You may be required to wait in a short line at the box office. It is advisable to reach at least an hour beforehand in order to ensure that you leave time to collect your guides and make it through security check.
You MUST carry valid ID with you and present it at the time of entry if requested. Should you fail to do so, venue authorities may deny you entry and such instances are not liable for reschedules or refunds.

Your tickets are timed so you must enter the Colosseum at the time slot selected at the time of booking. On the other hand, you can visit the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill any time during their operating hours on the same or the next day.
Note: Please note that entry to the Colosseum is free on the first Sunday of every month.
Audio/ Audio-Video guide
Audio guides run for 1 hour and 10 minutes and are available in 14 languages. Please note, you will need to collect your audio guide from the ticketing office, located at Colosseum, before proceeding to the entrance.
Getting there
The Colosseum can be reached by metro line B, train line 3, or via buses 75, 81, 673, 175, and 204. If you’re coming from Rome’s Termini train station, the quickest and most efficient way to reach the Colosseum is by metro. If you prefer to get there by foot, it’s about a 30-minute walk from the train station.
Restrictions
For safety and security reasons, bags, suitcases and heavy luggage are not permitted on this tour since no storage facility is available. You can, however, take a baby stroller into the Colosseum with you, should it be necessary.

How to Redeem your Tickets
You will receive an email with your Priority Entrance Tickets With Audioguide to Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill vouchers instantly. You may display your voucher on your mobile device, along with a valid photo ID at the ticket box office, Cassa 4/5, for 'People With Reservations', located in the Colosseum square, across from the ‘Individual’s Entrance Gate’. Receive your tickets, along with your audio guides, head to the ‘Individual’s Entrance Gate’, the priority entrance lane on the very left, before you proceed to the mandatory security check.
Please note that audio/ audio-video guides can be collected up to 2 hours before the ticket box office closes. The ticket box office closes one hour before the Colosseum does.
Validity
You may visit the Colosseum on the date and time of your reservation. Your ticket to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill is valid for two days, the day of your visit to the Colosseum and the next day. You may enter as you wish within operating hours during those days.
