Super archaeological site, it's very nice to be able to come to such a site. It's great to see the renovations underway and the excavations still going on in some places. On the other hand, you have to pay extra to see another part of the archaeological site, which is a bit of a shame considering that the park already costs more than €20, so you have to pay 8 more! There should be a global price and that's it, with access everywhere! And on the site, it should be better explained.

It was an amazing and really special experience. The treatment by the staff of the ruins of Pompeii was great and very close. We are looking forward to return to continue enjoying this marvel of history.

Amazing and well preserved place. Only issue is maps do not match with streets, as maps shows names while streets make reference to position. Takes a bit of time to make sense but over all is an amazing places that 100% must be visited. Staff are extremely helpful and full of knowledge

incredible. mind blowing as expected. i would highly recommend going for more than one day as me and my partner (both reasonably fit) were exhuasted and didn't even get round the whole site from 10-16:00, with a 30 min break only. if you really appreciate what you're looking at, it's impossible to see everything in one day, but if you only have 1 day - still go!!!!!!! we'll be going back in the future. We'll also be eating our picnic at the view point instead of the tables in the (good) cafe - we didn't realise it was right next to us!

Weather was not good but we had an amazing experience at the site. We saw many people walking and exploring. I'd love to go back someday. It was rainning and foggy.

Please expect a considerable wait time as you enter the attraction, especially during holidays and weekends.
A moderate amount of walking is involved in this activity. Please wear comfortable shoes due to uneven terrain.
Only small dogs on a leash and picked up while inside the homes can be brought inside the archaeological park. Service dogs assisting differently-abled people are also permitted with a certificate.
