Excellent organization, the guide was the best of all !!!! His clear and interesting explanation ... made the tour an excellent experience ... I remember his last name Ortiz and that he is from Colombia but has 24 years living in Italy 🇮🇹! A thousand thanks for having him as a guide , I think it is the success that gives this visit to us as tourists ....

Our guide, Brigitta, was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour so interesting and informative. She took great care of the group, making sure we were aware of any potential hazards and ensuring she kept our interest at all times. A really enjoyable tour.

I bought tickets to skip the line, while there was confusion where to line up in the beginning, the guide was able to take us to the quickest route. So with that expectations, it was fulfilled. The guide is pleasant, she is quite old, quite hard to understand her, and what do we expect for a very old guide vs young, energetic and lively one. She tried her best though.

Very beautiful, lots of history. WEAR A LONG SKIRT/PANTS AND SLEEVES. This was the only basilica our entire trip that threw a fit about my knees showing. All in all not worth the $300 I spend on the tickets. Cool to see once but wouldn't do it again. Our guide was wonderful and so gracious, if you love ancient sculptures you'd love it.

Important Information

St. Peter's Basilica

In order to pay your respects, you must abide by the Basilica's dress code. Sleeveless blouses, miniskirts, shorts, and hats are not permitted. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women.
It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes as the tour involves a fair amount of walking.
Expect a considerable wait time as you queue for the security checks. It could take up to an hour during the peak season.

Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel

Photography is allowed, only without flash. Taking videos and photos for commercial purposes, or live broadcasting of a show is strictly prohibited.
Luggage and/or large bags are not allowed inside the venue. You may drop off your bags with the free cloakroom service.
Pets and other small animals are not allowed in the venue with the exception of guide dogs for differently-abled people.
