Pilsner Urquell's rich history and brewing process
Start your 90-minute Pilsner Urquell experience at the interactive exhibition in Prague's Wenceslas Square. Explore the history of the world's first golden lager through multi-sensory experiences and a multilingual audio guide. Learn the history of beer, from ancient gods to the accidental development of Pilsner-style beer. Try handling the hops and grains used to make beer and learn about the process.
Interactive exhibits and games
The audio guide automatically plays as you move through the exhibit. Start from the street level, with the pub and beer garden called Vycepu Zvonu and a two-story entry hall with a large sculpture, Mash-Tun. Head to the immersive experience on the next floor. It has an interactive exhibit showcasing state-of-the-art technology and a 360° interactive game zone. At the beer hall, taste Pilsner Urquell's signature tank beer, chilled goodness in a pilsner served by friendly tapsters. With an upgrade, learn more about beer tapping at the Tapster Academy. In this 1-hour class, you can learn the art of pouring beer in three traditional ways: hladinka, schnyt, and milk. Don't forget to stop by the gift shop, and get personalized beer bottles and mugs on your way out.
