Vores oplevelse var rigtig god. Hele turen varede omkring syv timer (som vi blev informeret om, da vi reserverede), vi kom tilbage til tiden og kunne nyde en dejlig middag og drinks i den gamle bydel. Vores chauffør, Patryk, var meget venlig og imødekommende. Vores guide (jeg kan ikke huske hans navn) var også meget god, med fremragende viden og gav os turen præcis, som vi havde forestillet os for dette særlige sted, med ro og respekt. Alt i alt er vi meget tilfredse!

Your day begins at 9 am with pickup from your chosen location in Krakow, in a comfortable, air-conditioned van or mini-bus with a small group of 15 people. A 1.5-hour scenic journey takes you to Auschwitz-Birkenau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, meet your licensed, local guide, who’ll elucidate the haunting history of these former Nazi concentration camps.

Interactive Learning: A Personalized Tour of Remembrance

Your guide will take you through Auschwitz I, initially built as a detention center for Polish citizens in 1939. Traverse the iconic gate under the chilling ‘Arbeit Macht Frei’ (Work Makes You Free) sign. Take a short break to absorb the moving outdoor exhibits before heading to Birkenau (Auschwitz II), built explicitly for the extermination of Jews. Learn about the horrifying living conditions, cruel selections, and ghastly experiments conducted here. The tour concludes with the tale of liberation by the 60th Army of the First Ukrainian Front in 1945.

It’s recommended to wear comfortable shoes.

Luggage is allowed on this experience. The maximum permitted size is 30cm x 20cm x 10cm. You can leave your bags in the car which is locked during your visit.

Eating and smoking, as well as acting in a loud manner are forbidden at the Museum.
