On-Line advanced Ticket purchase - 10/10. Check in at Station in Zermatt - 7/10. This was confusiing and time consuming having to scan bar codes on phone to get an actual paper ticket. Why not just use the bar codes as the tickets? Very strange! Actual train rides were on time and trains were spotlessly clean.

The trip on the Gornergrat cogwherl train was wonderful. The scenery was awe inspiring and when we got to the observation area the views were spectacular! Having clean bathrooms was much appreciated. We did not eat but the little shop was busy and had some nice dishes. The actual ticketing was less than acceptable. There was No one there to assist as we had our tickets on my phone and no one directed us to obtain a ticket from the machines. We had to get into the very long lines to find our we could have used our ticket 🎟 in the premineun lane or get one from the machine. A lot of wanted time and energy and almost messed the only train that fit into our schedule.

Selve oplevelsen var fantastisk. Kundeservicen, hvor vi skulle hente billetter, var forfærdelig, damen var så uhøflig og uvenlig. Jeg er så glad for, at vores begejstring ikke tillod hendes attitude at lægge en dæmper på vores begejstring. Vi følte også, at ishulen havde et problem med fugt og skimmelsvamp. Vi tror, at der var noget galt derinde, da vi blev usædvanligt forpustede af at gå op ad den korte rampe til elevatoren, og vi så også andre besøgende i samme situation.
