Everything is good except that you can't download tickets without the app. But if you install the app then everything happens quickly and conveniently.

The Bioparca zoo was the best zoo Ive ever taken my children to. Good transport link or you can use a taxi. You can have lunch at the zoo or bring your own. Such a great variety of anyimals to see and we absolutely loved the penguins but the bears were the best! Would recommend visiting for sure. I booked online before travelling to Rome. There were no long queues either which was great.

Posto molto carino e animali tenuti molto meglio rispetto a molti zoo, rettilaio molto bello con un ottimo percorso da fare ..tuttavia snack bar molto poco forniti e bagni (tutti) in condizioni a dir poco pietose.

Le bioparc regroupe beaucoup d animaux différents, mais les conditions de vie des animaux m'ont semble bien difficiles : espaces petits, pas où très peu de zone de verdure, certains enclos entièrement bétones...., nous qui allons souvent dans des parcs animaliers en France, nous avons eu de la peine pour ces animaux du bioparc de Rome.

Your experience

Take a break from all the renaissance art and make your way to Bioparco di Roma, one of Europe's best animal-based attractions! Not only is it fun for the kids, but you’ll be awestruck by its conservation efforts. The zoological garden was founded in 1911 and has since evolved into a park that focuses on conservation, educational programs, and animal-friendly enclosures. It is home to a nearly 1,200-strong family of wildlife from about 200 different species of mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians!

Say hello to the big and small animals from every continent around the globe, as you walk through the lush botanical surroundings. Find out what dangers threaten their habitats and food chain, and how you can help save them from extinction. Kids will especially enjoy spotting the hippos, giraffes, tigers, bears, leopards, snakes, birds, and more!

Note, for reasons related to the needs of animals, the following departments will close:
- REPTILARY: 60 minutes before the park closes
- FELINI (lions, lynxes, leopards, tigers): 60 minutes before the park closes
- CHIMPANZÉ: 45 minutes before the park closes
- GIRAFFES, BEARS, ELEPHANTS, RHINOS: 30 minutes before the park closes
