Landskabet var uden sammenligning. Jeg fik lov til at kaste en snebold efter min mand. Vores pilot-Olivia var fuld af god information og styrede helikopteren meget smidigt. En af mine foretrukne ting, jeg har gjort i NZ.

En fantastisk oplevelse. Vi var så heldige at have perfekt vejr og smuk blå himmel. Vidunderlige minder med vores 2 babyer, for hvem turen var gratis. Tusind tak skal I have!

Since our Heli Hiking trip was cancelled the day before for rain, we took a short flight up and over Franz Josef Glacier, and landed in the snow for seven minutes. It was a beautiful experience, and gives you another perspective of this famous glacier. So glad we were able to book it.

Booked the 40 mins helicopter flight with glacier landing. However the weather was terrible and had given up hope of the flight being able to go ahead. However there was a small window in which the weather improved enough for a shorter scenic helicopter flight to take place, but visibility wasn't good enough for a landing on the glacier. Staff refunded the difference between the cost of the trips. Everybody was very friendly and the views were great despite the poor weather. Well worth the trip.

What to bring

Bring along your sunglasses, covered shoes (sneakers or trainers are fine) hiking boots, and 3 to 4 layers of warm clothing.

What's not allowed

Selfie sticks and drones are not allowed on this experience.
Please avoid using iPads for photography during flights as they can obstruct views. Feel free to use phones, cameras, or GoPros instead.
