*En mindeværdig oplevelse på Qasr Al Watan Palace*. Min familie og jeg besøgte for nylig det fantastiske *Qasr Al Watan*-palads i Abu Dhabi, og det var en uforglemmelig oplevelse. Paladsets betagende arkitektur, der blander traditionelt arabisk design med moderne elementer, imponerede os med det samme. Hver eneste detalje, fra de indviklede udskæringer til de store kupler, afspejler UAE's rige kulturarv. Interiøret var lige så storslået med smukt dekorerede sale og fascinerende udstillinger, der gav os en dybere forståelse af landets historie og styreform. Den centrale kuppel og de omkringliggende haver var særligt ærefrygtindgydende. Vi brugte flere timer på at udforske paladset, og oplevelsen blev gjort endnu sjovere af det vidende og venlige personale. Det var en vidunderlig måde at lære om UAE's kultur på, mens jeg tilbragte kvalitetstid med min familie. Hvis du besøger Abu Dhabi, er *Qasr Al Watan* et must-see. An architectural marvel

Nestled in Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Watan is a presidential palace that was recently opened to the public. One of the finest examples of Arabic architecture and craftsmanship, the palace's design signifies its heritage and its future vision. The palace has its own library with books on a wide range of subjects including archaeology, history, heritage, memoirs, biographies, human and social sciences, statistics, administration, culture, literature, arts, etc. It also has its own gift shops; one at the Visitors Center and the other at the palace building. One of the major attractions of the palace is its light and sound show, which depicts the history and growth of the UAE as a nation. This show has been divided into three acts: past, present, and future.

What to bring

It's recommended to wear respectful clothing when in the palace. Knees and shoulders should be covered.

What's not allowed

Consumption of food and drink is not permitted in the great hall or exhibition rooms.
Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.
Prohibited items include penknives or knives of any kind, scissors, long umbrellas, paints/aerosols, bicycles, folding bikes, roller-skates or skateboards, large bags that can’t fit through airport-style security scanners, and CS gas (tear gas) or any weapon.
Re-entry is not permitted.

Accessibility

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.
Wheelchairs are available for rent free of charge and strollers can be rented for AED 20.

Please make sure to keep your mobile phones in silent mode before entering the palace.
The Palace in Motion show starts at 7:45pm, with the last entry at 7:15pm.
