Stedet i sig selv er nok. Men mine børn havde forventet at se mindst en rustning eller et våben fra denne periode. Vægten ligger på "sten" (statuer, ornamenter, kapitæler), men på et slot har riddere også deres plads, især fordi de sælges i alle butikkerne, inklusive den på slottet, ligesom "våbnene".

Bien mais notre surprise quand nous avons découvert que les audio guide achetés ne sont pas ceux officiels du château. Mais au final en téléchargeant l'application, effectivement nous avons eu les informations. Problème : la batterie de notre téléphone s'est épuisée plus rapidement qu'avec l'audio guide du château.

Tout est très facile! Il suffit de télécharger le billet sur le téléphone portable et l'entrée se fait sans problème. Une très bonne solution !

Ça serait bien d'indiquer que les chiens ne sont admis même dans un sac !!!! Alors que dans un sac surtout un petit chien je ne vois pas pourquoi ce n'est pas autorisé !!!

Très pratique et rapide pour réserver les billets d'entree en ligne et surtout à permit de ne pas perdre de temps dans la file d attente(plutôt conséquente en période de vacances scolaires et période estivale) de la billetterie.

Step into the world of medieval trade and travel at the Cité de Carcassonne, much like the beloved board game, Carcassonne! Walk past the double wall boasting 52 watchtowers, the Great Well, and the Count’s Castle, Château Comtal. Carcassonne was slated for demolition in the 19th century, but you can still walk the ramparts today, thanks to one of Europe’s largest restoration projects.

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.
Smoking is prohibited inside the castle.

Additional information

Entry is free for disabled guests with an accompanying adult, jobseekers (on presentation of a certificate less than 6 months old), and holders of a valid education pass or culture pass.
To avoid large crowds at the entrance, it is recommended to arrive 1 hour after the monument opens.
The museum will remain closed for safety reasons.
