Guiden(e) og buschaufføren var alle fantastiske! Chambord var helt fantastisk, selvom selve slottet for det meste er tomt, med undtagelse af falske hjortehoveder, der repræsenterer Frans I's historie og jagtfærdigheder, moderne kunstinstallationer og en reproduktion af teatret; det giver dig mulighed for at fokusere på selve bygningen. Amboise var meget cool, meget mindre og mere hjemlig, med mere historisk fortælling i udstillingerne sammenlignet med Chambord, og nogle enestående udsigter over Loire; men byen er måske endnu bedre end slottet. Du kommer ikke til at kede dig, hvis du springer slottets rundvisning over. Personligt var Orléans den eneste del, jeg kunne have undværet. Besøget i Orléans fokuserede på to steder: Katedralen og Jeanne d'Arcs "hjem". The Domaine opens at 10am and closes at 8pm.
